Uma's Worlds ~ Our Story

Welcome to "Uma's Worlds" ~ My online gift shop features various collections of gifts & gadgets that are inspired by those I love & the colors of nature. I've always enjoyed exploring the "worlds" of reading, hands on learning, health, wellness, spirituality & nature. My life has been an interesting & entertaining journey, filled with an abundance of treasured memories along the way.

As a young mom, I remember how excited I was, to purchase our first computer for our home-education program. I quickly learned how to operate it and our three young children excitedly took their turns. For over 20 years, I have explored this "online world"... with it's incredible, infinite universe of information & possibilities.

I found myself with an "empty-nest", a few years ago. Our children had all grown up and began creating wonderful unique lives of their own, as it should be. So, I began spending more time on my computer... learning & researching... and I began dreaming of opening my own online gift shop.

In August of 2015, I was introduced to the "grandma stage of life" & I am enjoying every precious moment of this "new little world". Our amazing grandson has lovingly re-named us - "Uma & Pop". We just love watching our grandchildren learn & grow... as they teach us about their worlds. As the years continue to fly by... I find that my heart is much fuller than I had ever dreamed possible.
